Mustang Excursion (P.) Ltd.
has been founded (by social
aspect) to provide the traveler
with an unmatched experience, by
Jigme S. P. Bista (Junior Raja,
Son of present Mustang Raja) and
his associates, in 1994, and all
the profits directly goes to the
local development projects such
as building schools, irrigation
canals, restoring monasteries, and
nursery plantations.
Although
many Kathmandu-based trekking companies
are currently equipped to lead trips
to upper Mustang, Royal
Mustang Excursion (P.) Ltd.
provides the traveler with an unmatched
experience. It was founded in 1994
by Jigme S. P. Bista (Junior Raja
and Son of present Mustang Raja)
and his associates, after realizing
that much of the revenue from foreign
travel to the Kingdom was not reaching
the people of Mustang. Instead,
this income was remaining in the
hands of trekking companies, government
offices, and private individuals
in Kathmandu. |

other companies, Royal Mustang Excursion
(P.) Ltd., mogus operandi involves
employing as many local residents as possible-whether
as guides, porters, cooks, or horsemen.
We remain adamant that the best method for
improving the lives of Mustang's residents
in the face of change brought about by tourism
(among other factors) is to help facilitate
the cultural and economic interface between
Lobas (people of Lo/Mustang) and foreign
visitors ourselves.
Not
only are our staff well trained and hospitable,
but they are also familiar with the terrain
through which one travels. Hired horsemen,
for example, are also adjunct guides. As
a result, the interaction made possible
between Trekkers and local residents is
unparalleled. Also, though most foreign
visitors to Lo Monthang are granted a brief
audience with the Raja of Lo, travelers
who choose Royal Mustang Excursion
(P.) Ltd. are sure to receive no
less than regal fare. |

of Royal Mustang Excursion
(P.) Ltd. give a share
of all profits directly to the local
development projects such as building

is as much a product of Loba initiative
as it is an example of Mustang natives
who are committed to helping our
fellow villagers, improving living
standards and fostering a lasting
relationship between locals and
